Lynn McConnell is a senior editor of Sportal New Zealand (sportal.co.nz) and was New Zealand editor of CricInfo.com. Lynn has 37 years experience in journalism and before joining the digital revolution he was a newspaper journalist and Sports Editor of The Evening Post (Wellington) and The Southland Times (Invercargill). Lynn has travelled to all parts of the cricketing world and provided valuable information and stories to cricket lovers world-wide.
Lynn has written 17 books, 16 of them on sport, including The Encyclopedia of NZ Cricket, Chats - Ewen Chatfield's autobiography and more recently penned All Blacks fullback Mils Muliaina's best-selling autobiography Living the Dream and Conquerors of Time, the story of the 1936 Olympic 1500m in Berlin. He has also written a war history titled Galatas 1941: Courage in Vain.
He lives in Albany, New Zealand on Auckland's North Shore and continues his ongoing love of cricket in all its formats.
