The 3rd Trans Tasman Vintage Cricket Carnival will take place between Sunday 22nd May and Saturday 28th May, 2011. The Carnival program is as follows:
Sunday 22nd May: Teams will arrive on the Gold Coastand proceed to their accommodation.
Late afternoon team managers not staying at the Radisson Resort (headquarters hotel) will make their way to Radisson Resort, Palm Meadows, Carrara - just 10 minutes drive from Broadbeach accommodation for the Managers Briefing.
At 6.00pm teams will make their way to the Opening Party commencing at 6.30 in the Links Lounge and move to the Oasis Pool. Hot and cold canapés will be offered and there will be a free bar for juices, beer and wine and a charge bar for spirits. Very few formalities and the chance to mix and mingle, renew old friendships and generate new ones will be the feature of a relaxed, fun evening. During the evening team photos will be taken for distribution later in the week.

At 9.00pm the free bar will close and guests will be invited to enjoy the hospitality of the Chelos Lounge.
Monday 23rd May: 1st round of fixtures commencing at 12.00 start. A light lunch and tea will be provided. Host clubs have the opportunity to offer a barbeque and hospitality at the end of the game. Teams will transfer to their accommodation with the opportunity to enjoy one of the great Broadbeach restaurants or cafes.
Tuesday 24th May: A day at leisure with a wide range of options including outstanding golfing opportunities-a Vintage Golf Day is in the planning, Dreamworld, Movieworld, Seaworld, Pacific Fair Shopping or just relaxing around the beach.
There will be the option for teams wishing to play an extra fixture at one of the host clubs-provided there is a like-minded team looking for extra play.
Evening at leisure and the opportunity to explore the world renowned Jupiters Casino with a selection of restaurants and bars or to enjoy the local restaurants in close proximity to accommodation.
Wednesday 25th May: 2nd round of fixtures with a midday start. A light lunch and tea will be provided and host clubs are expected to offer a barbeque and hospitality. At end of the game and following some enjoyable hospitality teams will transfer back to their accommodation.
Thursday 26th May: An optional Big Day Out with a fantastic Hinterland Tour to Tamborine Mountain and surrounds with a country lunch and plenty of refreshment stops and sightseeing opportunities provided-details to follow.
There will be the option for teams wishing to play an extra fixture to play a game at one of the host clubs-provided there is a like-minded team looking for extra play.
Friday 27th May: A slightly earlier start with the 3rd “official” games commencing at 11.00am. After an earlier transfer back to accommodation, prepare for the Carnival Finale Dine and Dance. Teams will make their way to the Radisson Resort for the Gala Function in the Masters Ballroom commencing at 7.00pm featuring a three course buffet style meal and a free bar for juices, beer and wine. Light entertainment and a minimum of formalities will be provided during the evening. The free bar will close at 11.00pm and guests will be invited to enjoy the facilities of Chelos Bar.
Saturday 28th May: Teams will depart for further travel or the return home.
