A Celebration of the Game of Cricket

The 4th World Vintage Cricket Carnival, the “COTSWOLDS CRICKET CLASSIC” is to be staged in historic Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire, England.

The home of William Shakespeare will be the home of Vintage Cricket for a week in August, 2008.

For the players the beautiful rural cricket grounds of the Cotswolds and South Warwickshire are the perfect venue for Vintage Cricket.

For partners and supporters there is plenty to see and do. Canal Boat trips, Shakespearean Theatre, centuries old pubs and Warwick Castle to name a few. Also London is a short train ride for a day away.

Cricket Carnivals are fresh, friendly and feature cricket that preserves the spirit and tradition of cricket. More importantly they allow players of all ages and abilities to continue to enjoy their cricket careers while also providing teams, players, umpires and supporters with a fun social programme and enjoyable international fixtures against teams from all over the cricketing world in some of the great cricketing destinations.

The Vintage Cricket Carnival, Stratford upon Avon, is being hosted by Michael Perkins and his team at the Stratford upon Avon Cricket Club.
